Ryan was awesome and interested in healing my pain...not just adjusting my back or neck. He took the time to troubleshoot what the problem really is.

Morty M.

Recovery is amazing! Dr. Ryan has greatly helped reduce my neck and back pain so that I can enjoy evenings with my family again!

Dr Anson is amazing! This is my second visit and I have been to many chiropractors but Dr Anson has helped me tremendously in just two visits!! I have had low back pain for years that can shoot down my leg and have been visiting a chiropractor regularly for 10 years. I think the difference is he works on the muscles to release and the bones to align both and isn’t stuck on one technique, he did cupping (totally new for me), muscle scraping (was weird and sounds weird), muscle release techniques and stretching as well as adjusting.

Massage, compression boots, cryotherapy, PT, chiropractic adjustments, cupping, dry needling I’m talking everything!!!! My wife and I are Ironman triathlon competitors as well as ultramarathon runners. We beat our bodies to their limit and Recover brings us back to life each and every time! Go see them!

Chiropractic Care in Tulsa

What is Chiropractice Care?

Chiropractic is an evidence-based, non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Chiropractors practice primarily using their hands, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, joints, and muscles of the body. Chiropractic services are used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.

Chiropractic care may also be used to provide symptomatic relief for patients with chronic conditions like:

Limited range of motion in the back, shoulder, neck or limbs Chiropractors use a combination of treatments, depending on the specific needs of the individual patient. After taking a history, performing an examination and establishing a diagnosis, a chiropractor can develop and carry out a comprehensive treatment/management plan, recommend therapeutic exercise and other non-invasive therapies, as well as provide nutritional and lifestyle counseling.

When most people think of chiropractic they think of an adjustment. The adjustment is the most common treatment used in chiropractic that involves putting force through joints that require more motion to move and function correctly.

One of the most common therapies a chiropractor uses is spinal manipulative therapy (SMT), which can comprise a variety of hands-on techniques. Specific training in SMT allows chiropractors to provide highly-skilled and precise adjustments to the vertebrae of the spine, correcting joint motion to restore proper movement and improve function.

Generally, Chiropractors focus on the spine. At Recover, we provide training to our physical therapists in several soft tissue and extremity treatment techniques. These techniques include active release technique, dry needling, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. These techniques make us equipped to handle many athletic, soft tissue, and joint injuries.
