Dr. Anson has helped improve my daily quality of life!

I started suffering with tight calves, shin splints and eventually developed plantar fasciitis while training for a half marathon during the fall of 2017. I have tried many conservative treatments, including foam rolling, stretching, chiropractic care, massage, 8 weeks of physical therapy, and orthotics. While these all helped, overall I didn’t feel I was improving as much as I could. I hated that I wasn’t able to start training again due to the pain. A coworker told me about IASTM, also known as the Graston Technique, I did research on this type of treatment for about a week and found a lot of really helpful information, but I still wasn’t sure if this treatment would be right for me. I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Anson at Recover to discuss options and find a treatment plan that might give me some relief. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Anson, his knowledge and expertise have greatly helped me. After the first treatment I was able to start enjoying running again, after the second treatment I ran two 5k’s within 3 days of each other and I continue to improve with each treatment. My goal working with Dr. Anson is to be ready to train again this fall and run the Route 66 half marathon instead of walking it like I had to last year. Dr. Anson is also incredibly kind and personable. The interactions I’ve observed with his other clients have been nothing but professional and he treats each person with the utmost respect.
